CNC? I don't own one, never ran one, wouldn't know how. But this NG has a lot of interesting things on it that are metal related that I enjoy reading and learning about. And sometimes even the OT stuff. I've learned to ignore the threads I don't care for. Why don't you do the same thing. If you're so worried about a CNC only NG, go start your own.

He *is* posting in a CNC newsgroup (alt.machines.cnc), and did not notice that it was also cross-posted into Rec.crafts.metalworking (as is this, as a result of normal usenet newsreader's default behavior -- the followup goes to all newsgroups in the original's "Newsgroups: " header, unless there is a "Followups-To: " header set to point to some different list of newsgroups.)
