The cheap units from

work very well. I have a GS2 on my BP and would not be without it. The GS1 is OK, but I wanted a remote keypad that required a GS2.

Joe, What Gunner said. I just mounted a small box remotely from the VFD that has just the fwd/rev switch, panic stop button and a speed control pot in it. The VFD is mounted down on the rear side of the mill.
