Very nice!

Last I heard I the Aludium Q-36 Pumpkin Modulator was the record holder, firing a pumpkin more than 4400 feet. Yes, nearly a statute mile! That was back in 1998. I wonder if they've passed the mile mark yet.

Someone may one day beat that record, but they'll *never* beat that name!

Very impressive! I do wonder however, just where is the valve or some such that opens flow of air.

Look at the rear of the barrel just after the ell. You can see the two flanges. The valve is between them. They use a "butterfly" valve on these to allow for fast airflow.

Ahhhh, but there's one critical question left unanswered...

Where's the Earth-shattering ka-boom? There's supposed to be an Earth-shattering ka-boom!

Sorry... You knew that SOMEBODY had to do it! :)

Ooooohhhhhhh! The brute-force elevation control is a nice touch.

If you'da hadn't, I'da dunnit. ;-P

"Pax Americana is a philosophy. Hardly an empire. Making sure other people play nice and dont kill each other (and us) off in job lots is hardly empire building, particularly when you give them self determination under "play nice" rules.

Think of it as having your older brother knock the s*it out of you for torturing the cat." Gunner
