Electronic comparators

A couple of analogue electronic comparators followed me home last night when I collected some grinding discs, I'll certainly never use them to their potential. One with 12" stand will read down to .000005", the other, no stand but two probes, down to .000001" (1 micro-inch) and metric equivalents. I'm generally struglling below a couple of thou



Both are far from new, but seem to work OK.



If anyone here is interested let me know before I polish them up to put on ebay.

Hmm, could be used to make a Planekator or Repeat-o-meter to check the surface table.
