Froment Engine Build Diary

Hi All, Well as stated before I am building a Froment Engine. Here is the link to my webpage showing the finished coils for the Electromagnet. They seem to pull really strong with just an 8mm bolt through the centre and there is room for 12mm. I will document this engne build on here as well as my webpage. Will draw up plans when finished as this is a free form engine.

Hope to start the mounting pillars tomorrow although they may take longer as they will be fluted in design.

Cheers,

Hi All,

Today I turned the pillars and cut base plate. all on same page a above. I hope to flute these pillars although i have no rotary table o indexing head at present. I do have the Hemmingway kit on the way thoug so will have to finish that before i can flute pillars. I think nex will be the floor of next level along with pillars to hold flywheel.

Cheers,

Colin Heat
