Electrrically operated Hydraulic change over valve, part of a 10,000 psi hydraulic pump assembly indirectly obtained from Manchester University. Some bodging undergrad had mangled the little die cast casing that houses the electrical connections on top of the solenoids. Top surface had been broken where a central screw holds it on, so casing flopping arround. Should really make new little box, but simple facing off of the old one. Bond a new oversized upper plate on with loctite. Sand to size on the disk linisher. Quick coat of primer and top coat, and you'd never know that the over indulged unwashed students had been near it!
I used 638 which isn't really intended for flat surfaces but it's worked a treat!
