Membership application

President John I formally request to be elected to the grand membership of the cynical traders association. I hereby promise to obey all rules and regulations as laid down in the articles of the association. As an initiation rite I am prepared to undertake machining be it CNC turning or VMC work (for a fee of course) in batch sizes from 100 to 10,000 off. Stainless steel work a speciality. Joking aside, at the moment things have gone very quiet on the turning side, so if anybody knows of any batch turning work going begging I would appreciate some and thus avoid laying off some of my workforce. Thanks Phil I have just done as suggested and yes there is possibly some scope. Not ever having fished I would have to do some R&D such thingd as 'goalposts' etc. Cheers Dave "Industria, arte, prudentia"

not trying to be funny but have you thought about the carp fishing trade.

all the carp anglers are going potty for good quality stainless work. I have been doing bits but can keep up with it so I gave in. I'm a D.I.Y band.

have a look on goggle undercarpfishing and just type stainless in and you'll be surprised at the price that get chargedfor some off these things and how easy they are to make.

just a thought that's all.

goalpost' as the name suggests, basics are 3 pieces of metal, 2 uprights and one cross bar at the top. the bits are put together with 3/8bsf threads. the top bar has 2-3or 4 pots with 3/8bsf threads to put rod rests on.

lol. I have just re-read and I have confused myself.lol.

if you need anyclose up photos of bits or help then give me a shout as I love the carp fishing, for the last 20years anyway.

there are two top names IMO to look at and that is solar tackle and Steve Neville's.

hope it takes off for you and your guys.
