Power converter capacitors

If anyone wants to play with some serious three-phase converters, we have some new 440mfd 1000V film cap's, M8 terminals, 01/20 date code, about 1kg or more each, rectangular body out of folded ABS sheet.

Since Philips sold their passive components business, we have been running on old stock, and while we have 47000/40V and 10,000/100V they are getting hard to find these days, and the replacements are MOQ of 100pces and up to £18 each.

We used to buy lots of the 160V cap's as they could be used for the 110V chargers, but we have to use 200V types now.

BHC do the size you mentioned, but they tend not to be distributor stocked.

Farnell do four different 22000u/100V cans, but not cheap. The least expensive is £27.43+VAT....

Sorry John, from here it looks like you'll have to part with some "folding" ;-)
