I am not a regular to this group... I'm from that horid wood and diy arena ... :-) However I posted this question to uk.d-i-y and someone sort of suggested that a model shop might help - so I thought - I'll try a "model" NG... so here goes..
Does anyone know where I can obtain small rack and pinion kit. I have some jigs and other stuff in mind that would be enhanced with a small, cheap rack & pinion.
Google etc.. have shown up some very nice high precision, and industrial stuff, but these are obviously going to be very pricy...
UK.d-i-y pointed me to Maplins of all places...WC77. A bit small and I'll take a look at them... Also they pointed to an excellent site...
I would really like to find someone in the UK doing this sort of stuff
