I have a drawing of a 231. If your trying to match holders is the width and depth enough? Using 8mm cylinders in the dovetail, 1.310 inch between the cylinders and the depth to the ground surface where the cylinders sit is .306 inch.. It's a 60 degree dovetail and from memory I could get a

20 thou feeler between the toolpost and holder. I keep meaning to make a few more holders, 7 seemed loads when I first got it..

I picked up a few Tripan 100 series holders (thanks Nick!) here a while back.

I have since made a toolpost, and a PILE of tool holders, though, as yet, unfinished.

I made a dovetail cutter to cut the slots for the cut-off tool blades as well.

I should get off my rump and get a picture organised!

I only had the tool holders themselves, and pictures that I had downloaded over time, and was not certain how the innards worked, so I came up with a way, as well as a way to save my tool, when I had an "Oops!" moment, and made one of the cuts too deep.

It seems to work OK! :-)
