This is very unlikely, but does anyone have some spare space from East Sussex to the Midlands (J22 M1 or there abouts). Enough space to fit a four foot long bench lathe (and the bench & tools, chucks, etc -so probably not a mini). The chap estimates it is 8 cwt, but that seems a bit heavy for something that size (you never know with lumps of cast iron though). I'd hire a van, but petrol/diesel both ways starts to get a bit expensive.
