Helical Sweep Cut Threads extend off part as Surface

How do I stop WF3 M070 from showing the cut threads as surfaces extending off the part.

Thanks! Bruce

Could you briefly describe how you created them?

There is a button on the feature definition toolbar that converts between a solid and surface feature. Be sure you don't have that selected by accident.

Sorry, a little tardy here. If you're still wondering on this; it sounds as if you have created the thread with a depth greater than the material. If this is the case the full extent of the thread is shown on the drawing (even though part of it is in mid-air). You can remove it using the drawing tool 'show / hide' and removing cosmetic lines. But the correct, best and easiest way is to redefine your thread depth as equal to the material thickness or use the 'to next surface' slection. (The latter must be done in the model, not the drawing, of course.
