In this AI landmark year of 2009, the

now has a subpage on consciousness at

with an optional Talk page for discussion. Or you may visit the #ai chat gateway at

and click on "Start chatting now >> after which under "Browse IRC Networks" you enter "artificial intelligence" and click "Find channels". Then click on "# snipped-for-privacy@irc.freenode.net" to enter AI chat with an arbitrarily imposed nickname. Enter /nick yournewnick to change to your own chosen IRC nickname.

Tell them Mentifex sent you. Ask/answer any questions about Open Source AI.

Usenet - the endless clash of personalities.

Either you believe that man is driven by a soul (mind) with causal powers, or you don't.

If the first, the Religionist position, you can argue that consciousness is subject to evolution.

If the second, the Scientific position, you can argue that conciousness is not part of the physical world, and thus not subject to evolution.

Don't pick at words. You pays your money, and you takes your choice.
