Roomba robot vac knock off

I just saw this Roomba like robot vac at Walmart:
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?cat@47&dept@44&path=0%3A4044%3A4047%3A4047&product_id &25271&type=1
It's called Zoombot and is half the price of a Roomba.

Here's a negative review of the knock-off:

I guess you get what you pay for.
Here's another review but I think the lady is confusing the Zoombot with a Roomba:

This end user confusion could hurt the Roomba reputation.

And somewhere around the time of 07/12/2004 09:14, the world stopped and listened as Danh Trinh contributed the following to humanity:

Heh... Don't buy anything electronic from Wal-Mart. I learned my lesson a long time ago.

I don't know. Regardless of how good the Wally-world knock-off is, Roomba's so popular in part because it's got a great reputation. I just checked Amazon, and there are 200+ reviews that average out to 4/5 stars. Plus the company that makes it also makes bots for the military, hazmat and bomb squads, and so forth. So I might still lean towards the original even if the other *was* decent, which it sounds like it's not. Randy
