I don't know. Regardless of how good the Wally-world knock-off is, Roomba's so popular in part because it's got a great reputation. I just checked Amazon, and there are 200+ reviews that average out to 4/5 stars. Plus the company that makes it also makes bots for the military, hazmat and bomb squads, and so forth. So I might still lean towards the original even if the other *was* decent, which it sounds like it's not. Randy
