METRA to host two day INDY launch - Oct. 1st andf 2nd

Metra will be holding a two day INDY launch on October 1st and 2nd. If you haven't attended one of these launches, this would be a great time to discover why INDY rules.

INDY stands for Independent Launch. METRA purchased GL insurance for the

2005 season that allows the INDY launches to occur. During an INDY launch both commercial certified and EX motors may be flown side-by-side on the same day.

Although the INDY launches are not TRA or NAR sanctioned, you will still require TRA or NAR certification to the level of motor you wish to fly. FAA waivers and Safety rules are in effect as well.

Many flyers have voiced the desire to make the INDY launches two day events. Well METRA listened. Both the October and November launches will be two day INDY's.

Come out and fly with us. Your support is needed in order to ensure that METRA will once again host INDY's in 2006.
