SECTION 464 Released 19 September, 2006 For Immediate Release: NEMROC 2006 Presentations

NEMROC 2006 has developed a solid technical program for rocket nuts of all ages. When you attend NEMROC 2006 this is who you will see, hear and participate in 12 great presentations. They are:

Jim Flis, founder of FLISKITS, will discuss the pleasures and pains of being the third largest model rocket kit manufacturer in the country. He will also conduct several build sessions in the cafeteria.

Mark Mayfield, co-founder and president of MM Publishing Inc. in New York City, and the editor-in-chief of Launch Magazine, a new national bimonthly publication devoted to hobby rocketry, and Deborah L. Martin, co-founder of MM Publishing Inc., and former managing editor of House Beautiful magazine in New York will showcase their new magazine and discuss how they got their magazine started.

Al Gloer and Greg Gardner of NERRF fame will discuss how the now classic May event came to be.

Dick Nelson, the Founder of the Pearl River Rocketry Convention, will discuss the good old days.

Glen Avalar, Long-time (30 years!) member of the NAR, having used MR in a 'scouting' program for more than 15 years, is looking to pass on many tips for beginers looking for 'the next step' in model rocket building. A tool designer by trade, Glen shows how simple tools and techniques make a BIG difference in the final appearance of your rocket. Adhesives and finishingtechniques will be covered as well.

Bob Harrington, a long time model rocketeer, modeler and R/C flier, will demonstrate the techniques of making cardstock rocket, and assist in the build sessions conducted in the cafeteria.

Len Fehskens, another long timer, and well-know as an accomplished designer of futuristic rockets, will conduct a session on mission driven design approached in model rocketry. You will learn how to develop an engineering based "from scratch" design using commercial modroc design and simulation software.

Robert DeHate, L3, and founder of PICOALT, and one of the Animal from Amimal Motor Works, will tell of his quest of ?MACH 3 or BUST? with a report on his 65KFT flight at BALLS 2006.

Doug Gardei, a prolific flier and master of the WEB, will discuss HP APCP motors and the rocket that go with them.

Bill Spadafora, President of CMASS and a rocketeer of 40 years, will discuss the care and feeding of hybrids and the system sot launch them.
