You failed to mention that he was reinstated prior to the election.

Too late for people to consider him properly to vote and soon enough to "barely" be able to say they reinstated him.

And what of the impression it leaves voters? Would you "risk" voting for someone who was removed, whether or not they were reinstated?

Kelly has never been removed and he has done dozens of times as bad of stuff. Ditto Rogers.

The fact they reinstated him is PROOF the removal was without merit and timed to coincide with the election.

You are of course in Dunakin denial about those simple, obvious facts.

Doesn't Bruce have a nose as long as a mean machine by now...

Totally and 100% separating TRA from HPR and BK would be a BIG step forward. In fact, TRA ought to produce its own publication and move on.

Think of how many pissed new members from the flyrockets.com web site there are going to be in 6 months...

It will be even more interesting to watch the TRA and the HPR song and dance to mitigate the whining :) I wonder if newbies will be as tolerant as HPR zealots?

Naah. Cracker Jack Prize.

or a holiday card from Bruce:

"Peace on Earth, Cash to Me" with cover dates of Sep/Oct/Nov/Dec 2003 :-) And a "personal" leter inside where he promises he'd have done better this year except for some family emergency, and a promise to do better next year.

Reminds me of the episode of MASH where Klinger is trying to get a hardship discharge, and the Col Blake has the whole file of his previous letters including "Half the family dying, half pregnant"...

3 stage.

I would do it :)

For only 90% the current magazine cost and actually meet a schedule (effective quadrupling of consumer value received).

Isn't that something that should be on the clubs web site. Sort of like what you find at

I needed tenure information, which can only be obtained by researching the historical record

If someone with all the past Tripolitan issues and time on their hands would like to find out how many consecutive and total terms the current BoD members have served, I would appreciate your posting that information.

thanks in advance

David,

Try this as an experiment. Call TRA and ask for a copy of the policy that you will receive as a benefit of joining. You will quickly be told that it is not available to you. Not "available for a small processing fee" to cover expenses. Simply unavailable to anyone not on the board. That's one reason I discontinued my membership.

Jeff,

I have a question to ask. Why is the policy I purchase unavailable for review by the membership?

Hard to imagine that is legal either from an insurance perspective or from a non-profit corp perspective either.
