(ROL Newswire) -- Giant Leap Rocketry, Inc. has released a 3.9"
nosecone, the latest in the Pinnacle series. It has an exposed length of
5-to-1, or about 20". According to Ed at Giant Leap, "this nosecone is
the longest plastic nose on the market in this size category. We've
listened to the flyers, and they wanted a cone that is longer, and more
pleasing to the eye, and one that fits and attaches more securely to the
rocket." The new Pinnacle 3.9" cone incorporates several features such
as sandable ribs on the shoulder for a better fit. It also has thick,
wide tabs at the base to more securely attach recovery hardware. The
base also accepts a 1/4" threaded eyebolt. The shoulder is 5.75" long
for a more stable fit, one that reduces the wobble that, according to
Ed, is found in cones with short shoulders. The new cones retails for
$18.99. Dealer inquires are welcome. To learn more about the 3.9"
