[Planet News] New 38mm PINNACLE 5-to-1 nosecone from Giant Leap Rocketry

BATON ROUGE, Louisianna USA -- Giant Leap Rocketry, Inc. has released a

38mm nosecone, the latest in the PINNACLE series. It has an exposed length of 5-to-1, or almost 9".

According to Ed at Giant Leap, "this nosecone is the most advanced on the market. We've listened to the flyers, and they wanted a cone that is longer, and more pleasing to the eye, and one that fits and attaches more securely to the rocket."

The new PINNACLE 38mm cone incorporates several features such as sandable ribs on the shoulder for a better fit. It also has thick, wide tabs at the base to more securely attach recovery hardware.

The base also accepts a 1/4" threaded eyebolt. The shoulder is 2.6" long for a more stable fit, one that reduces the wobble that can occur with cones that have short shoulders. The new cones retails for $12.25.
