It's not exactly a kit, like a model. It's made by James DeSimone,

IIRC). It was made for a GI Joe convention a while back. It's not PVC (as in the plastic pipe) either, it's that slick "milk jug" plastic, so ordinary paint won't stick to it without using a flexible auto body primer. It's not distorted like in the pic. I haven't assembled mine yet. The clear parts are made from his reproduction GIJoe/Irwin Panther Jet from the '60s. IIRC, the real Batmobile used F-86 canopies. The body is one big piece & you put on the axles & wheels & clear parts & some other odds & ends & then paint it & mark it. IIRC, DeSimone calls it the "Gotham City Cruiser" or "Joe Mobile" to avoid any copyright issues & it's based on he '60s TV show Batmobile.
