Does anyone have any info on this bird? I have the Hasegawa kit but know very little about the subject. TIA!

you after anything in particular?

Jon.

Okay...first flew in 1985, went into production in 1988, replaced the Fuji T-1 and Lockheed T-33 as the main jet trainer of the JASDF. Operated by at least one training wing and all of the fighter units (as liason hacks). Some are painted in aggressor schemes. The Blue Impulse demonstration team replaced their Mitsubishi T-2s with T-4s (the same reasoning, perhaps, that the Blue Angels replaced F-4s with A-4s). Can be armed with a belly machine gun pod and racks for Sidewinder missiles and/or light bombs.

Featured in the Japanese anime cartoon "Airbats".
