Bertone Panther

I am the lucky winner of an Eidai/AHM 1:20 Bertone Panther and have started to do some research (look for pictures) of this car, especially the motor and interior. I've checked Bertone's website but they only have a picture of 1/2 the car. I've found one picture of a head-on shot but no luck as far as the engine and interior. I've found a few books on Amazon, one used for $415 and would buy a book (although not for $415) if it did have extensive pictures but don't want to buy a book that doesn't have what I want in it. A check at the library shows no books on Bertone. If anybody has any refernce photo's or knows of a good book/magazine that has good photos could you please send the information my way.

Thanks, Ian

Don't take it for granted, but if I find the time to dig in my archive (a little untidy, just imagine Uncle Scrooge's vault, but with magazines instead of dollars), I may still have a contemporary magazine/book ("Style Auto", Automobile Quarterly format) on the subject.

That would be much appreciated.

Retrieved!

Notes:

1) scanning will take time; colors, when present, are fair for an aged 1968 magazine. 2) images and text (18 pages in total) are interesting, but the feature is more on the design side, and the motor (maybe to be bought ready at a later stagerather than designed in-house or by a third-part contractor) and interior are not dealt with, except for what can be seen through the cockpit glazing. But, if you are planning to scatchbuild a replica (1:1 scale, I mean) this _is_ what you need!
