OK, maybe not in 1/24 or 1/32... but...
Just tried (sort of succeeded in...) rigging the Lindberg 1.48 P6E. OK, not the best model to kick off biplane building, I admit, but at least they provide some steel wire to work with.
At this point, I'm seeing quintuple. How the heck do you deal with all those tiny lines going every which way in such a small space? The air is only slightly less blue (after that *and* dealing with Lindberg's awful decals for this kit - should've just painted the cowl.) The interplane struts are pretty bad (due to some misguided trimming) but what the heck..
Think the only 1/48 bipes I touch from now on are either (a) not going to have those wires, or (b) be something like the AM F3Fs.... everything else, larger scales.
(On a positive note... I *rigged* a *biplane!* Sorta! Wouldn't want to fly in it, but hey...)
