jerry, did I get your attention? Good.
I have a question for you.
What was YOUR purpose and intent, when you labeled a 210 pound shipment of rocket motors, as "model aircraft parts"?
Be specific.

zzzzzz....
Wake me up when the trolls are fed and this newsgroup isn't humping Jerry and actually talks about rockets.
Ad Dave to my boring fools list. Yawn.
But a truthful answer to the question still has not been forthcoming.
I'm sure when Jerry's posts reflect less noise, such a siginal to noise ratio will result. Notice any difference after iz departed??? As for as humping Jerry, he has a lock on that activity, via self indulgence..(:-)

I browse often, but don't post much.
I tried to talk rocketry 6 months ago when i first tried to post on this forum and was immediately attacked by Jerry and told what an idiot i was..
So it doesn't surprise me much when i see what's going on now..
Now back to finishing repairs on this Amraam4.. oops that's rocketry related sorry
Based on both your ROL chat posts and your TRF posts, I was right.
But given you prefaced your current message with that, I can't wait to see what helpful, tech post you have now!!
Oh. None.
How surprising.
How about a post with the subject: Building an Amraam4, here's what I learned . . .
Just a suggestion from the people at Jerry.
Jerry
Where's TRF when ya need it? ;-)
Stones
Letting the troll overflow leak back onto RMR!!
It's back!
Flee, Flee.
That is unless troll baiting is a hobby of yours
Prime.
Like Brennion.
I've been following KBR on tripoli quad cities and have come to respect and admire what you guys have been doing.
However like i said, here's another example of Jerry's supreme intelligence.
I'm a real guy who's fairly new to rocketry, (3 yrs) who came to ROL and asked questions to learn something, and this is the type of response i got from Jerry then as well as now.
So if KBR truly thinks this is advantageous to rocketry let me know I'm curious.
In about a year of watching RMR I have yet to see Jerry Irvine give any worthwile advice on anything except how to obtain large fines from the DOT, he's gone so far as to show us how also.
I've seen him denounce the major rocketry organizations here. Then fill out his new profile to start posting on TRF and claim to be a member of TRA.
So Jerry has succeeded in completely turning me off to this forum and impacted my feel of the hobby. Someone here really believes slamming the new people is a good idea for the hobby?
Blame the trolls all you want but if you truly believe what he gets isn't deserved, or even more probable, wanted by him, you've been reading this forum with blinders on.
Continue to support Jerry's crap and fine examples, (model airplane parts, give me a break) and you'll continue to drive new people away.
And so many of you wonder why your hobby is in trouble???? I'll go elsewhere
Say what you will, but these are the feelings of a newbie looking in, if you're not concerned with that you'll have no new people. With no new people you and I both know your hobby is going away.

From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:19 PM EST NO attached garage unless a special waiver is issued. Usually only in rural areas.
From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:18 PM EST rd inaccurate
From: rdbones (Home Page) (New Message) at 5:17 PM EST the propellant is considered a low explosive
From: rdbones (Home Page) (New Message) at 5:17 PM EST low explosive = a relatively slow-burning explosive, usually set off by heat or friction, used for propelling charges in guns or for ordinary blasting.
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:17 PM EST attached garage?
From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:16 PM EST detached structure 75 feet or more from an inhabited building and in a locale not adverse to it.
From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:15 PM EST 0.14 inches per second (500 psi). 1.8mm/s ambient

From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:13 PM EST right I dont want to hassle with a LEUP
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:12 PM EST still hassle tho
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:12 PM EST true on both counts
From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:12 PM EST ATF high fee, background check, INSPECTION, hardware, VERY, VERY restrictive what sites qualify.

From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:10 PM EST FAA no fee or background check
From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:10 PM EST Fcc no background check
From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:09 PM EST Actually you have omitted 6 other agencies that regulate the manufacturers, none of which are necessarily ATF. Not could NOT be any more regulated.
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:08 PM EST PADS?
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:08 PM EST OOOOHHHH but there not explosives
From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:07 PM EST Motors happen to be "exempt explosives".Congress says so.
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:07 PM EST you get my point
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:07 PM EST could it be anymore regulated?
From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:07 PM EST disagree fully
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:07 PM EST then you need a FCC licencese to track it
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:06 PM EST then you need a waiver
From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:06 PM EST agree fully
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:06 PM EST tfirst you need a leup for the motor
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 5:06 PM EST I just want to fly rockets

From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:02 PM EST :) scottm
From: scottm (Home Page) (New Message) at 5:02 PM EST howdy rd
From: Jerry (New Message) at 5:01 PM EST There are no ATF agents swarming at launches. Even if you claimed a LEUP was needed only ONE guy at the ENTIRE launch would have to have it to make the WHIOLE LAUNCH legal.

From: MRoland (Home Page) (New Message) at 4:56 PM EST Jerry Is it that you like to hear your own gums flap.... Your age old rhetoric is getting really boring...
From: Jerry (New Message) at 4:56 PM EST I am consistent.
From: Jerry (New Message) at 4:55 PM EST I have taken far greater issue with the dealers than a mere guys elling LEUP services for a commission on a product for which a LE*P is NEVER legally needed.
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 4:54 PM EST tright or wrong
From: Mach 1 (New Message) at 4:54 PM EST those dealers are just doing what the ATF told them to do
From: Jerry (New Message) at 4:52 PM EST The post made a needed point. troj was just the "delivery system".

From: Jerry (New Message) at 4:37 PM EST hi
I have so many firemanup wacky posts, but this one happens to be instructive due to my responses (proven in court).
Just Jerry
P.S. (that means postscript) Fuck you Firemanup. Newbie with no social skills.
Hey, Lying Coward, if you so "legal", why did you label over 200 pounds of rocket motors as "model aircraft parts"? you weren't trying to deceive anyone, were you?
FUD! An indoor magazine is NOT subject to the 75' requirements, nor is the building it's housed in. You can have an indoor magazine in a shed three feet from your back door. Only _outdoor_ magazines are subject to distance requirements.
You may also be able to put an indoor magazine in an attached garage if you can get a variance; however at least some regions are not issuing variances.
I'd find it much more entertaining listening to you explain to the DOT why you labeled rocket motors as "model aircraft parts".
What dazzling vocabulary skills you have Jerry, good to see you putting them to good use.
I am willing to be technically corrected on explosives magazine placements. [especially from a contemperaneous chatlog where careful checking before posting is less likely]
PADS are exempt from storage in magazines, so it does not matter to me.
I have never had propellant or motors required to be in a licensed magazine I had or during the term of an ATF permit I have.
Ever. WITH regular inspections.
Jerry
More lies! You have no LEMP! The BATFE TOOK it from you, because of violations and criminal charges, why else would you need a criminal defense attorney?
If you have a LEMP, why not prove me wrong and post it?
How does shipping rocket motors as "model aircraft parts", not a violation of Federal law regarding the "manufacturing, importation and distributing" of PADS?
:) I did.
