i built the starfix "spitfire" and thought i could improve it. so i microwaved it on nuclear death setting for 15 minutes. it didn't even get warm.

I'm kinda happy to hear that. I won't have to worry about putting polyethylene plastic cups in there when I want to warm up my coffee or tea.

i do have a large magnifyer that i will use on it.
He should have put a coat of aluminum plate Metallizer on it first...
rather not have toxic gas floating around.
I was thinking more of the ark-and-spark factor...the resulting flaming of the toxic gasses should minimize your exposure...
...'course, you're on your own dodging the fireball.
Just put that li'l badboy on the floor and jump on it!

i apcked it full of black powder and a m80. then i buried it in a can of black powder. the 2 foot crater was very satisfying. twaren't nuff left to id.
He probably had the BNSF police and Homeland Security checking the area for sabotage. ;)
