In amongst a pile of bits and pieces I picked up recently there is a Monogram kit of of a Piper Tri Pacer. I believe the aircraft is complete, but the figures that the instructions say should be there are not. One fuselage side has been sprayed red. The decal sheet is there. It has to be very old because the price label on the end of the box says Gamages (59) and the price is 11 shillings and 9 pence. Gamages Dept store in London closed down a good while ago and the price stated is before the UK went to decimal currency in 1969 (I think) The 59 on the Gamages label could mean 1959 I guess. Does anyone have any interest in this kit? Is anyone prepared to make me a sensible offer. I normally fly turbine powered models so this kit is a bit out of my style I live in South Africa but I don't think it is a hassle. Regards Dave Armitage snipped-for-privacy@iafrica.com
