Just tried the Glad Press n Seal to mask the canopy of my AM TBM-3 Avenger. I'm impressed. Cheap, easy to work with, cuts easily, almost no bleed. Only problem is it leaves a honeycombed pattern residue. Tried soap and water and it worked with some scrubbing with a cuetip. I'm using Model Master lacquers with an overcoat of Future. Anybody had any success with anything else?

You might try to cut the residue with a little "goo gone" or WD-40. What did you use to cut it? Did you have to burnish it down?

It also works great for camo masking. It is easy to cut with a #11 or small scissors and then lay it on the model. You can stretch it some also to refine your pattern.
I also use a 2" x 2" patch to seal opened paint jars. The cap comes right off the next time! I cut a bunch of squares and hung them by a clip within easy reach.
One of the orange oil based counter cleansers might work as well...neat idea.
