In honor of this being the 40th anniversary of the moon landing (or filming in the Nevada desert - whatever! 8-P) I broke down on ePay and bought a Bird Models Dornberger Orbital spacecraft (a precursor to his Project BOMI while he lived here in western New York). The kit looks beautiful with nice molding and detail. That's the good news.
The bad news is that they're shipping it via DHL!

Look at the auctions of "sturmvogel11" (that's Rudolf Vogel of Hohensch=E4ftlarn) and the auction is transaction #250418675285. I've done several of his models; they're a bit rough but can be made into some really nice models. It's just dealing the DHL - Uggghhh!
