r.m.s. seems like just the right place to say a bit thak-you to all those who put this show at the adlington community center on yesterday.
it was very enjoyable, just the right size and sets the standard for the rest of the year.
while some of the IPMS stands were familiar, full marks to those who made sure about 99% of the models were not ones i'd seen before. a particular mention for those guys who had built the old fujimi Vought [?] Cutlass kit; the 1/48 scale PRU Mossie [in SEAC/RAF far eastern type markings]; and the various modern ship models. the display of 2050 sqn ATC [down stairs at the venue] was also very good.
