Documentary series following four pilots competing for the privilege of learning how to fly a Spitfire. Many of the pilots who defeated the Luftwaffe in 1940 had received less than 10 hours of training on Spitfires or Hurricanes before being sent into battle. Now, with just one dual-seat trainer Spitfire still in operation, four young pilots compete for the same nine hours of training that a Battle of Britain pilot would have received. (Subtitles)
