All right, so nobody does a 1/48 MiG-21F-13... *grumble*
But has Academy not been selling their PF or MF anywhere of late? I can't seem to find it listed online... Or am I looking in the wrong place?
Still want the 21-f-13, though...

I'm still waiting for a replacement seat for the 1/32 Trumpeter F-13.
As for the Academy kits, I see them listed all the time, although I could not now say where. I'll drop you a line the next time I see one. I'll be at AAA Hobby here in Atlanta today. They may still have one.

Which seat is in the F-13?
Neomega makes a conversion for the academy kit.
From Aerofax's MiG-21 Fishbed (which is what got the urge for an F-13 in real scale going again): Cockpit:... "When closed, canopy locked by side latches, with rear arched frame resting on lugs on each side at top of SK cartridge-fired seat...."
It'd actually be nice to have an "F" as well... that can be backdated to the swept-wing prototype.
Thanks for the link... tempting. But it looks like they left the left-hand gun "open," when it should be a blister (left gun deleted, right left alone.) Eh, nevermind, followed the build link, they got it right....
*sigh* I can see myself spending money on that, and the UM.Prefer a full kit, sure, but that's a definate possibility.
Academy is apparently soon to release a MiG-21Bis. Or, so Hannants claim...
Be ready to wait, I've been trying to buy that set but nobody has it in stock. Seems they made a few of them and it's been a low priority of making any more.
