Just for the interest of those who maybe aren't familiar with the e-book newsgroups (or otherwise have a life away from the computer :-) ), several books on painting and weathering of model tanks etc.have been posted recently on alt.binaries.e-books.technical. A decent newsreader and/or news server might be needed (I use "NewsRover" and "Giganews" - usual disclaimer). I ran across them while searching for other books and am passing it on to the modellers FWIW.
