Yes, but, as current event have shown the Freedom of speech does not mean you can make some one hear your speech, spamming does this.
Irrelivant, US laws apply to all us company's and laws passed in other places, like thru the UN are also applicable. In other words, as the US Attorney General put it, If it's owned by a US buisness or person the law can and will apply.
Perhaps as my health problems resolve I can do something along these lines myself. Like, Simple laws that forbid contact without prior permision ( How many times have you got an email with something like "Becasue youve expressed an interest in "A" we are contacting you about "B".) as well as an extension of the current "truth in advertising" (no erb or pill will give you inches...) laws would make a big differance. I also feel that protected legal action rights to the email owner as well as the ISP are needed.
ME
