Ya know, you just can't write great comedy like that, it has to come from real life.

Story I heard last night, ostensibly true: Salesman is in this guys' office, notices a picture of the guy with John Madden (lumpy American sportcaster.) "Hey, when did you get your picture taken with John Madden?" Retorts the guy, "HEY! that's my wife!" Cheers,

Sounds nice. When my son, now 27, was a toddler, my wife and I fixed up his room with a Snow White whole-wall poster (7' high by 9' wide or thereabouts) and a 5'6" Goofy cell (done of adhesive-backed clear mylar) The poster went up nicely, by Goofy was a real son of a bitch! I wonder what the next residents of that house thought about him (Snow White came with us for my daughter's room); the guy that bought the place from us used it as a rental and the first folks there were a family direct from Hong Kong.....

Justin's room (he's 27 living with Lennox Gestaut syndrome, mentally 3-5, always happy) is light blue blending to a darker blue ceiling.

Our painter did clouds in such a way that the ceiling and upper walls look like soe of the Hubble photos. I added a spiral nebula coming from the center with the planets hanging at appropriate distances.

At night he often points up and says "stars" before diving under the covers.

There are large cutouts fro Star Wars on two walls with SW models here and there.

He's always working on a model or two with me to be hung fro the ceiling.

With four kids the senior moments sometimes gets the better of me.

I think Trainer Yellow and USN Mid-blue would be a tad too colourful for my tastes but apparently Lynne likes it.

Our first apartment had a little room where the models slept. I painted it Ocean Grey with Gloss Brown trim. I liked it but I wonder how the next tennant enjoyed it.
