re Help with gloss finish

Hi

I have a problem with gloss finishes, most of the time I get a "satin" finish or a mixture..

Different mixture % don't seem to help, is there a matter of air pressure? amount of paint? distance from the model? opening of the nozzle?

Thanks

Jose

Try lower pressure. I use a lower pressure (12-15) for gloss, 20 for flat. Put it on wetter (thick coat). Get brush closer to surface.

Good gloss painting is an exercise in brinksmanship. Keep putting it on until 2 seconds before it runs. How do you KNOW 2 secs before it runs? Experience- that is only way.
