Hi:
I need to know if I can use tamiya flat base for the final flat coat of my model.
How can I thin it? Which thinner and ratio? Can I mix it with future? (ratio?) How can I clean it from the airbrush?
Thanks in advance

You CAN NOT use Tamiya flat base alone. It il turn your paint in a white messy. Falt base is used to mix with gloss Tamiya paint to have a flat or satin finish. It is always a good idea to test it before to aplly the mixture on the model. I have heard that it is possible to mix it with Future, but I don't know which ratio use.
To thin the mixture and clean airbrush, you can use what you are used to use with Tamiya paint.
Bye, Rodolfo.

I use 20% flat base to 80% future. Spray on in thin coats, works Ok for me.
