how can I thin Tamiya acrilycs?

Hi:

I know that I can use 91% Isopropyl Alcohol, but here, in Israel, I cant find it. The only thing is 70% alcohol (ethyl alcohol) Can I use it? What else can I use other than tamiya thinner? (also difficult to find)

Thanks in advance

Jose

Windshield washer fluid -- the blue stuff in the gallon jugs -- works fine. I would expect the formulation in Israel would be about the same as it is in the US.

I use that all the time--it does dry pretty fast, but I don't find that to be a problem.

Are you sure it's ethyl? That's the drinkable stuff ya know (say Vodka!) Isopropyl comes in 91 percent and 70 percent. I've always found the 70 perfectly usable. The 91 has a tendency to blush when airbrushed. hth
