You know, there was this audio/video-store in Oslo called Akers Mic which I used to order video-tapes and laserdisks from. For some reason they didn't have a customer number system, and they rarely managed to get my name right when I ordered over phone.

So, every once in a while the mailbox would be filled up with a big stack of mail order catalogs -- each one roughly the size of the monthly Squadron flyer and about four centimetres thick (that's about two inches) -- plus a small note from the mailman that he couldn't fit anymore into the mailbox and that there was several more waiting for me down at the post office ...
