A 1957 custom T-bird in deep candy apple gloss burgundy, no chrome except on the engine and custom bumpers, custom interior and racing slicks. Although I'm an aircraft modeler, I saw such a T-bird the night of the final installment of "The Fugitive" (1967?). 312 cu.in. engine bored out to 326ci (I think). Hurst 4-speed. Nicest car I've ever seen and one of the very few I've ever truly lusted after (move over Jimmah Carter!).

Oh, BTW, this Dream Project would be in 1:1 scale!

I don't think it's all that old, but yep.

For me, it would be a 1/72 scale airfield diorama, either with B-17's or P-51's. I'm talking a diorama built on a 15'x15' base with buildings, vehicles, and about 20-25 aircraft. If you've ever seen the two big ones at the Eighth Air Force Museum, then you know what I mean...

my dream project would be reichlin airbase in january 45. think of the x craft you could put there.

Finishing my 1/35 Leopold diorama with a BR 52 Kriegslokomotive then getting the stupid thing out of the basement.

2) Falklands. a) Atlantic Conveyer aircraft deck. I figure the containers should be easy to fabricate, harriers and helos parked inside. b) Aircraft Carrier deck with Harriers etc spotted, helos, etc. 1/72.

I've always wanted a "do-all" military base. A big dio made up of HO trains, an 'airfield' (not to scale, of course, but a small runway & apron area for the a/c), a section for armor & a shipyard type area. I used to do up things like that when I was a little kid using toy soldiers & stuff out in the backyard. I think something similar using models now would be cool.

Sounds like something I'd love to see! A similar concept to my own series: Car Tunes dioramas. What's that? Well, I've got one already done for Jan & Dean's "Little Old Lady From Pasadena". You all remember the "rickety old garage" and the "brand new shiny red Super Stock Dodge", don't you? Throw on a Jimmy Flintstone/Beverly Hillbillies 'Granny' figure and you're there!

I'd still like to do "Hey Little Cobra" ("I took my Cobra out to the track hitched to the back of my Cadillac."), "Shut Down" (a "fuel-injected Sting Ray" and a "413" drag racing), and maybe "Dead Man's Curve" (another 'Vette and a "Jag" - maybe a stake truck?).

Most of the 'surf bands' offer some tremendous opportunities if I liked GMs ("409" and "Little GTO") or early '60s rods ... but those are up for grabs to anyone who wants to swipe the ideas.
