Subject: Shows Class

(Original Text)

(Tantrum/Spittle from Vess)

Like all the rest of your solipsistic, self aggrandizing postulations - - I am sure that an AFA graduate would debate your professed academic abilities and point out that Mr Eisenhower "shook" your hand. (A carpenter might have "shaked" your roof?)

Can you substantiate that Hopkins is indeed twice as difficult academically? Just the facts, please....None of your sophomoric opinions. Have you ever attended the Academy? Any Academy? Have any Hopkins graduates ever been invited to attend one of the academies? On the other hand - how many military academy graduates have been invited to attend JH??

(More drivel from Vess)

Yah, right. Going by that criteria and using your typically skewed rationale I would suspect that Mr Clinton would have gladly hugged or groped just about every female member of the graduating class.

Vess, you're obviously suffering from living at a high altitude too long. How about relocating to a more amiable climate? Perhaps consider setting up an intellectually stimulating ham & eggs outlet in Baghdad??

I think that Bush is the phoney, the guy who preceded him was the disappointment....

Maybe the next one will be a real President.

I had to check who wrote that line. For a minute I thought it was from Vess. The real situation as I see it is that there is no sizable majority for either side. This one will be a squeaker like the last election and I'm not feeling too sure of our election technologies right now. We won't see chads in Fla. this time but the computers may crash (again) and wipe out sizable chunks of results.

We need to restore some sanity and courteousness to the political process or this country is going to keep veering to one rut or the other every 4 years. Too many from both parties treat the elections as some kind of quarterless warfare and there's no sign of professional courtesy anymore. This country used to run on that. It also wouldn't hurt for people to try and understand the issues that we face. I believe it was Jefferson who said that our republic requires people to make choices based on their intelligence. I see far too many people basing their choices based on how the candidate looks on TV.

One would hope so. Unfortunately, some people can't seem to see that our *real* enemy is Islamofascism, not George Bush and the Republican party.

Reply to
Al Superczynski

Strange. ISTM that the New York Times' ombudsman admitted just that very thing quite recently....

Reply to
Al Superczynski

Let's be fair here. There are just as many folks out there that fail to see that Islamofascism is our real enemy, not John Kerry and the Democratic party.

To date G.W.B. has not rescinded his statement that "We are not at war with Islam".

Somebody needs to tell them that.

John Kerry and the Democrats aren't running the war. Makes it pretty hard to attack their policy, assumming they actually have one other than something akin to Nixon's 'Peace with Honor'.

We're at war with Islamofascism, not Islam as a whole. At least so far......

Do you have a credible source to back up this allegation? Your opinion doesn't make this a statement of fact.

A Clinton supporter speaking of honor. How quaint.

Is that part of your salute to the academies?

It's not a tradition for presidents to attend soldiers' funerals.

The President of the United States is always newsworthy, no matter who is holding the office.

As opposed to Kerry's record in the Senate?

Kerry was in Viet Nam for four months. He's been in the Senate for nearly 20 years. What has he done for America lately?

To quote the late great President Ronald Reagan: "There you go again." It seems you're confused as usual. You've gone and attributed the traits and character of former President Clinton to the current President Bush. You need to work a bit harder on getting your presidents straight.

Vess Irvine vented:

Your opinion and, like just about everything else you post, it's born of anger and intolerance......and it's mistaken.

My dear Mr. Irvine; MY DEAR MR IRVINE! Assuming what you posted isn't a total crock of shit (and that's always a distinct possibility with you), the good Mr. Eisenhower "SHOOK" your hand; Vessticles, he did not "SHAKED" it and, if he did, I hope he washed his afterward. If your writing is an example of the sort of education Johns Hopkins is turning out, your "claim" that it is 10-times it's a wonder you can figure out how to turn your computer on. Again, I'd like to see some empirical data to support your further opinion that Hopkins is "twice" as difficult as the Air Forcer Academy. Perhaps your problem is that you've "SHAKED" your member too much and have bruised your brain.

Whether he was more of a man than GWG is merely a matter of your opinion (and, like an asshole, everyone has one). Now, would you care to provide specific and accurate information in an attempt to convey your assertions from the realm of opinion into fact?

Oh, Vess, Vess, you truly do make me wonder about you; why do you continue to do this to yourself? Do you, in your myopic view of the world around you, think that such things do not happen at other colleges and universities; your precious Johns Hopkins as well? Wake up, son. These same issues occur at college and university campuses all over the US (and the world, no doubt). The fact you've singled out the AFA while overlooking similar issues elsewhere is just a further that you either don't know what you're talking about or you choose to pick-and-choose the reality you portray.

Admitted he was a war crimminal ?? (Do you want a self admitted war crimminal as president ?)

Voted for the war in Iraq, then against the 87 billion to pay for it ? (now what do you think kind of message that sends the troops ?)

Said he owned SUV's, and then a week later said he didnt ? (he must think that the America people have no memory...)

Says he is for abortion, yet then states that life begins at conception ? (I see the abortion people are all upset at him now)

Says we need to bring the jobs back to America when his wife's company is 72% based overseas ? (can we say hypocrite people ? Thought so !)

One thing that is consistant with Kerry, he has NO princplies that he has ever stood on all his life. He only says/does what he thinks the voters want him to be at the moment. But no real moral standing that he has taken since he first entered public office Or even before.. .He got a Purple Heart for a cut on his thumb, caused by his own throwing a grenade in a non combat enviroment, that required nothing more than a Band Aid. You call that a hero ? Please........... Of all the people in the Swift Boat Co. he was in, only one (thats 1) supports him !!!! (2 have since died, the others wont have anything to do with Kerry)

Oh..... he has stood by his non stop attempts to raise taxes........ (what I hate about liberals, they always want to raise taxes on things like gas, and oil, not realizing that the first people hit by such taxes are the poor that are just barely getting by now as it is......)

And if you want a trial lawyer like Edwards in the White House, just remember Clinton and what happened to Piper Aircraft Company......... You might also want to think about how hard life as a self employed contractor became under Clinton too. One reason that we see soo many new jobs created in the small business sector right now. Under Clinton, it was just too expensive, and costly, to be a small business (less than 10 people) and make any real $$........... (I know from personal expirence here !) Quick story; I've been a contractor all my life. I worked for Rose Kennedy, she didnt pay our company for 9 months till we put a lean on her house, then she got incredibly angry, and paid the bill. The only people I've ever had a hard time collecting $$$ from are wealthy liberals.... (gets very interesting when the lien hit's their house !)

We NEED tort reform, not another lawyer in the WH making life even more onerous !

What amazes me about Vess, and people like him, is the lack of rational thinking in his posts. It is all non stop, un substantiated attacks, in rapid succession, yet with no basis in reality, nor acceptance of others who think differently. Which is the reason Kerry will not get elected at all. What liberals will never understand is that the American public at large is NOT staunchly liberal OR conservative. And the diff between the lib's, and the con's is that the conservatives will try and convince people of the policies and things they want to do are right. The liberals will say anything to get into power, and then proceed with their left wing aggenda regardless of what the people of this country really want................ They cant seem to figure out that the American people as a whole do NOT want socialism to be the way of this great country !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW Al, obiviously this post is NOT aimed at you :)
