Super Bowl Modeling Plans ??

For once, I will be watching the Super bowl. Normally, I find other more interesting things to do. But as a life long Saints fan, missing this SB would be like the Faithful missing the Rapture - or if the Saints' curse isn't yet lifted - Armageddon.

John Player Special was a new brand of cigarette marketed by Players. Colin Chapman's cleverness was to make his cars resemble the cigarette packets as closely as possible. So much so that he was on one occasion complimented for having had cigarettes produced that matched his cars!

JPS are an awful long way away from Navy Cut.

No modeling for you! Get out and shovel (but not too hard, okay?). I saw that Philly had almost 30" of the white shit......

We got around two feet here next to Wash DC.

And BTW, I'm not shoveling for a day or two.... I walked almost four miles in this stuff today taking pic's and wandering around.

Worse it's going down to around 11F tonight :(

Oh... forgot to mention, our power was out from around 3:30 am till 7:40 pm.

Now that really sucked !!

That happened here in Western New York a couple of years back. A nasty surprise storm in OCTOBER dumped about 18" on us and brought down beau coups powerlines with it. We didn't have power for a week. Fortunately we have a wood burner and had plenty of firewood. Lighting was by oil lamps and the only radio was an old battery operated. Now I have a honkin' generator so that's all a thing of the past. The worst was the 6" of water in the basement (no power for the sump pump) and two dead refrigerators full of food...... Stay warm!

I was out for 74 hours during hurricane Floyd in 1997. I bought s generator about 48 hrs into it. I got $170 from the Insurance Co. for spoiled food.

Yep, it's knee-high in my driveway and we're getting some more Wednesday.

Same here, except we are getting more snow Tuesday...

Still no plow, so my car goes no where.

Yeah I know, they are no where nearly as good....

Well, I actually did watch the superbowl, don't know why, except that there was good company, and alcohol involved...

And there is now plow through our street still...

I will be making up for my lack of modeling today :) (at least 99.99% of resin cutting/grinding is finished)
