I know a lot of the magazines do this kind of thing, but are their any nominations for "kit of the year 2004"?
How about catagories such as:
Best Armour Best Ship Best Post WW2 Aircraft Best WW2 Aircraft etc etc

Overall, regardless of scale:
Armor - Trumpeter 1/35 SA-2 and Zil Transport. Ship - Revell 1/72 U-Boat Post WWII Aircraft - Trumpeter 1/32 Flanker WWII Aircraft - Trumpeter 1/32 P-38
How about the Italeri SM.79 for best arcraft of the year?

It's a wonderful kit,and if ther field were not wide open, I'd probably vote for it. However, if the R-G Ju 290 is also a 2004 release, I would vote for that.

The 1/72 Concorde?
I'd go with Trumpeter's Su-27 or Mi-24 or Airfix's Concorde. What's the scoop with Squadron's Kit of the Year? Some ship I've never heard of.

Wasn't that the name of the ship in "Starship Troopers?" Maybe you haven't heard of the O'Brien, but surely you've heard of Liberty ships? I'm not sure how Squadron picks their kit of the year. Wishful thinking maybe? Altho, that being said, most of their recent KOY's have turned out to be good kits IIRC.
