Vickers Valiant B.I Suez crisis markings

The Valiants did NOT carry yellow/black stripes. They were in overall aluminium finish.

A few publicity shots emerged from Vickers with touched up stripes, but nothing on the real aircraft

I have read many sources which mention this, saying that Valiants didn't carry stripes. However, somewhere, I have a photo in an old RAF Flying Review, illustrating an article on the Suez operation. This is a flying shot and shows stripes. Would these shots from Vickers show only static aircraft? If not, it would seem a lot of trouble to make, what point, I wonder?
