Does anyone remember seeing a decal sheet to represent wood or plywood that was available a while back? I remember seeing it advertised but had no need for it at that time and now can't remember where I saw it. now that I need it. Any info will really be appreciated. Swede

Aeromaster - a couple variations across four or so different sheets as, as I recall.
Aeromaster made them and they went out of production rather quickly for some reason. IIRC Eagle Strike or AM has re-issued them and I think Americal Griffon does a set. Search at:

The Keeper (of too much crap!)
Aeromaster sheets 48-602, 603, and 604. Tan/Brown, Clear/Brown, and Dark Wood paneling.
I never got what one could do with these...then I saw an article on a WWI subject where they were used on the fuselage. VERY striking! I'm going to have to try them one day.
Pegasus Models did them as well, though they are ou tof print at the moment. Don't reply to the btconnect address - and remove nospam!!
I got a couple sheets a few years ago for a future project of converting an AMT Jeep Honcho pickup into my Grand Wagoneer - complete with 'wood' trim. A fair amount of work, to be sure...

Might come in handy if there were more Ford Country Squires available.
