Adding "custom properties" to a bunch of parts at once

Is there a way to add custom properties to many parts at once?

I'd like to add, say, 5 custom properties to a bunch of parts in an assembly. Is there a way to do this without individually opening each part and adding the custom properties?

I have exactly what you're looking for. Visit the website:

The macro is named "Batch add property" and will add up to 10(?) parameters/values to every part and/or assembly in an entire directory. There's an option to overwrite/retain existing values for matching parameters.

Let me know how it works out.

SW Task shecduler will also do this (included with SW Office and above)

Party on Steve! :)

Thanks for the compliment.

There is a way, but I don't know how many available tools can do that actually. But "normal" batching with open works fine: here's my tools for it: SWab and SWie, download
