Bend Allowance - Formula

Is it possible to insert a equation into Solidworks to calculate the sheet metal bend allowance? How?

You could probably do something with an equation, but why not just use the sheet metal features and let it flatten it for you?

Have you tried using a bend table. You input the values and save the table and SW puts in the apropriate value based on material thickness and bend angle.

By the way you can calculate just about anything you could want using SW API be it macros or a dll or exe addin.
