New PC has a video card with two video out's. I plugged in two monitor's and viola. Now what? I can not figure out how to take advantage of the dual monitor's with Solidworks other than playing solitare on one while waiting for rebuilds on the other. Please help because it looks really cool.

I assume you have an NVIDIA card? you need to enable spanview mode to allow an open gl window to fill both monitors.
Yes... done that. But I still haven't figured out how to navigate the two monitors. My menus are always on the left. I can place my buttons anywhere but I find I get lost between the two screens. How can I maximize the usefullness of a dual monitor setup with Solidworks.
I guess that depends on the type of work you do. typically I split the full window vertically so as to view my work from different directions/ends or one up close and the other an overview.other options are to display a section,perspective or zebra striped view in one. otherwise tile windows vertically to see and work on dwgs/ sheets, parts ,assys simultaneously. my toolbars are around the outside- you are stuck with the FM being on the left of each window. use nview to arrange for word,excel, int explorer etc to pop up in useful places while you work.I have autohidden toolbars for office on the left and taskbar at the top. I will send you a screen capture of my 03 or 04 set up for your interest if you like. the real benefit to me really has been to have another view for immediate reference or access that is large- I still tend to work on one.I cant say it is radically faster. I hope this helps you is you are getting lost on screen of course there are tools like zoom to fit, previous etc. cheers
