We need some ERP/BOM/Accounting software to handle 6-10 large custom design projects per year with 1000-3000 parts in their BOM, many of them custom one off parts. All the software out there seems oriented to job shops, does any body have anything they use for this type of business that they have found is half decent?

Hello,
We use M1 by Bowen & Groves. It is made for "Make-To-Order" Shops, NOT Job Shops. It is very customizable, by you not necessarily by a consultant. Their support is excellent. They have a mailing list for customers, that is active everyday. Check them out at
