Nebie ?? - have a receiver geometry, want to take insert geometry off it

I have a receiver, a revolved boss/base on (kinda) this sketch:

__________________________________ | |

+-----\ | A \...............................\ | B C \.......................| D E G F __ . __ . __ . __ . __ . __ . __ . __ . __ . __. ctrline

I want to build the (also revolved base/boss) part that inserts (from left to right) -- mentally connect the dots A, B, C, D, E, F, G, A..

Is there an easy way to take the existing lines and dimensions from the receiver sketch and create the new part?

Check into convert entities and derived sketch as ways to do this in the context of an assembly to make a relationship between the parts.

If you don't need to maintain the relationship, you can copy and paste the sketch from one part to another.
