We have Engineers using SW to design products in the US, Europe & China. We need to setup a system where the Support Techs can find and access drawings across the regions. One problem we run into is the performance trying to open a SW drawing across the WAN. Does anyone have similar requirements? If so, how do you handle it?

It is recommended that SolidWorks files are only opened from the local drive. Performance drops off hugely when opening files over nonlocal connections. Have you looked into using PDMWorks Enterprise?

We have just started working on a list of potential options or technologies and PDMWorks Enterprise is one of the possibilities.
dbWorks should probably be on your list as well. Working well with multiple sites is one of the things they tout.
